ADAM Audio launches Soundtrack Competition 2020WIN!

Industry

Berlin, Germany (February, 2020). ADAM Audio is pleased to announce the launch of its fifth Soundtrack Competition, where contests are invited to compose a short, 30-second soundtrack for one image supplied by the company. As always, the Grand Prize in the competition is something special: a pair of glossy-white A7X 20th Anniversary Limited Edition speakers. Additional prizes will include the Studio Pro SP-5 headphones and a pair of T5V studio monitors.

When it comes to picking the three winners from thousands of entries, the Berlin based team likes to seek the help of a juror from the field of professional film scoring and song-writing. Prior editions featured the likes of Aisling Brouwer, Dennis S. Sands, Jake Jackson and Mike Rose. This year, ADAM Audio has teamed up with Loy Wesselburg, winner of the renown German Film Music Prize in 2015 for his work on “Lügen und andere Wahrheiten” (“Lies And Other Truths”).

For the picture, the center of the competition, an all-time American classic has been chosen: the famous painting “Nighthawks” by Edward Hopper from 1942. What’s the story behind those people in the bar in the middle of the night? The participants in ADAM Audio’s Soundtrack Competition might give away the answer in one of their compositions.

Details of the contest are as follows:
