P-Series

P like Precision

The P-Series combines the ART tweeter with compact enclosures and attractive pricing. This ADAM proprietary transducer technology guarantees a superior resolution above 2 kHz – a precision not possible with dome or conventional flat ribbon tweeters. By applying just the right amount of carefully crafted equalization to the low frequencies, we obtain almost an additional octave of bass response compared with a similarly sized passive system.

Amplification and damping factor

The built-in 100 W PWM amplifiers are individually housed and exhibit excellent dynamic behavior with their low output impedance and a damping factor >400. These amplifiers represent a new audio performance oriented approach to amplification and combine excellent sound quality with cool operation.

Near- and midfield monitors

The vertical models P11A and P22A have been designed for nearfield monitoring and the horizontal model P33A is suitable for both near- and midfield monitoring. These monitors are offering an outstanding choice for project studios, post-production, and mobile recording facilities

All three models are magnetically shielded.

Panel/controls on the rear side

The rear panel is the same on all models of the P-Series and offers a number of controls to adapt to different room acoustics or personal tastes.

The panel houses an input gain control (± 10dB) and a control for the tweeter level (± 4dB). In addition, there are two Hi/Low shelving filters (±6dB) for both >6 kHz and <150 Hz ranges respectively.

P11A

Transducer technology

The compact two-way P11A combines a 7” woofer with the ART tweeter, yielding an amazing frequency response of 42 Hz to 35 kHz. The P11A is magnetically shielded.

“Simply a notch above”

The smallest member of the P-Series has received critical acclaim:

In a comparative test of 25 contestants up to $2,600, the ADAM monitor was awarded First Place. (cf. Keyboard, 10/2001)

The P11A: “Simply a notch above other speakers.” (Tape Op, No. 33, 2003)
