Travel Back in Time with The Willem Twee Studios

Have you ever wanted to create vintage electronic sounds with analog equipment from decades past? The renowned Willem Twee Studios in Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, is offering one applicant two full days in their one-of-a-kind studio, featuring test and measurement equipment from the 50s and 60s, as well as modular synthesizers from the 70s and 80s.

Travel back in time and take control of the same equipment used to generate the very first electronic sounds for music. Specialist support from the Willem Twee studio team combined with an intuitive, hands-on workflow will have you channeling your creative vision and recording your unique sounds in no time.

Fill in the application form below by 11 pm CET on Monday 6th June 2022 for your chance to be selected. ADAM Audio and Amptec Professional Audio are excited to be supporting Willem Twee with monitoring for their two analog studios.

The Successful Applicant Receives

• 2 full days of studio time (taken consecutively)
• 1 night of accommodation (Please see terms and conditions for more information)
• On-site support and equipment training
• Lunch is provided at the studio each day

If you are applying as a band or musical group, a maximum of three people may attend the studio time.

The successful applicant may book their studio time within 6 months of the award announcement. The studio may be booked during any of the normal opening days provided it is not already booked by someone else. Please see the Terms & Conditions for more information on the studio time package.

How To Apply

Answer the questions below explaining your motivation behind applying for the studio time. Important: Your application is only officially valid by completing and sending this form. Please read the conditions of participation and the declaration regarding the protection of your data here.

The application is open to anybody who is actively working on a music project or creative goal. The successful applicant will have a project that is positive, engaging and interesting, as well as demonstrating their motivation to make best use of the studio time. They will be able to show how the studio time will have a significant impact their project(s). The most convincing application will be selected.

Application Conditions

• Before you apply, you must be certain you can make your own way to and from the studio as travel costs are not covered in the studio time package.
• Participants must be at least 18 years of age.

Application Period

Applications open on Tuesday 24th May 2022 and close at 11:00 pm CET on Monday 6th June 2022. The selected applicant will be announced on this landing page on Thursday 16th June 2022.
