Dedicated Hi-Fi Mode

Rediscover your favorite music thanks to studio sound and true balanced audio.

Studio Sound at Home

Studio headphones are trusted to deliver transparent detail and highlight flaws and imbalances in a mix. At home you’re hearing the final product, after the painstaking work that has gone into resolving the mix. When using studio headphones, Hi-Fi customers often describe a new appreciation for this work and the nuances associated with it.

True Balanced Audio

Hi-Fi mode is activated by pressing the inset button on the left earcup using the supplied metal pin. This splits the common ground between the left and right earcups and allows dedicated grounds to be provided via phase-inverted signals from a differential headphone amplifier. The dedicated Hi-Fi cable facilitates this connection. It is a dual-entry cable to allow the independent grounds, and it terminates with a 4.4 mm Pentaconn jack for connections to Hi-Fi peripherals. A split ground results in higher output power, clearer channel separation, and cancellation of any electric interference. Hi-Fi mode is only for use with Hi-Fi devices as most studio equipment utilizes a common ground.
