The german magazin Videoaktiv has checked 7 active studio monitors between 480 and 1440 Euro the pair for usability in video editing suites. In the category entry-level monitors the F5 has been described with the following lines:
“When it comes to musical enthusiasm the F5 has no reason to hide: Both tracks “Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough” and “Turkish Bazar” were reproduced very impulsively and lively. […] In comparison to the other low budget candidates tested, the Adam speaker seemed not to be shy in the high frequency domain. And also in the lower frequencies the F5 knows how to impress: Kraftwerk’s “Elektrokardiogramm” translated with reasonable pressure and the basslines of Madonna’s disco classic “Vogue” were easy to follow up.”
