ARTist 3 Review: Small speaker with a big and audiophile sound

The German hifi magazine Audio wrote a review on the brand new ARTist 3 while comparing it with other speakers of its size in its 03/2011 issue. Here is a brief summary:

“The ARTist was most convincing when stood on a large desk. With Brahms Piano trio (Storoni Trio) it offered clear strings and a very voluminous piano sound. The later tended to sound a bit too full when the speaker was placed to close to the wall. A truly audiophile resolution paired with a natural ease in playing, this speaker entices for long listening sessions. […] Even at lowest volume settings, this speaker kept its transparency and natural sound, still leaving more than enough reserves for desktop use.”
