Mental Health First Aiders at ADAM Audio
Industry
Berlin, March 2026 – ADAM Audio is pleased to announce that a total of 19 employees have recently completed a Mental Health First Aid course.
Originally conceived by the eponymous Australian organization, the now global MHFA training program is designed to help people identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
“The awareness that mental health is an important matter, is increasing – not only regarding work, but our own personal life. Especially in recent years we have seen how suffering with mental health issues can affect people. When ignored, this can lead to a downward spiral with potentially tragic results”, says Juliane Felsch, Feelgood Manager at ADAM Audio. “There are often early warning signs, and the participants of the course, including myself, now feel more confident in identifying and addressing them to guide affected persons towards professional help.”
The cross-departmental group of Mental Health First Aiders at ADAM Audio are now working on further increasing the visibility of this topic within the company and organizing educational and preventive initiatives for the entire team.
The opportunity for the staff at ADAM Audio to participate in the Mental Health First Aid course is but only one measure within the company’s wider efforts to create a healthy working environment. From celebrating Mental Health Week (including various initiatives to support mental health for all employees) to bike leasing options, the management team is determined to provide support for building up effective defenses against the health-related challenges of modern life. The high level of interest in the MHFA course amongst employees shows that they are pushing at an open door.
