Force Compensation

Big drivers are capable of moving huge amounts of air - that's what they are supposed to do. However, at the same time the mechanical forces involved can cause unwanted side effects, especially when two or even more big drivers work within one cabinet.

Therefore, in the floor standing Tensors two HexaCone woofers work against each other in the bass cabinet, so the opposite forces compensate each other. This configuration neutralizes distortions typically found in classic cabinet designs with only one woofer. The bass tubes fire downward, preventing disturbing port noise due to their wide aperture.
