The Berlin-based company b-sharp has specialized in recording and post-production of classical music, film music and other live music performances. The proven team of internationally experienced producers and engineers has worked with accomplished musicians in creating recordings of superior artistic and technical quality for years, many of which have been recognized with a Grammy, Gramophone Award or Deutscher Schallplattenpreis.

For many years, b-sharp has been relying on the S3A and their recent successor, the S3X-H. In addition, their studio is equipped with five Pencil speakers from the Classic series.

Asked about the Pencil speakers, Philipp continues: "When it came to furnishing our new studio in Berlin, we were looking for a surround setup that would translate our mixes from “on the road” into the studio domain (and vice versa) without giving us any surprises. The Pencil series, being a close relative of the S3A, was our first choice."
